Tradeshow Tour 2022: Highlights from the Road
As event season slows down, we’d like to look back at the tradeshows we attended in the first half of 2022. This year’s tour is a special one as it marks the launch of our Connected Vehicle Lab, a mobile demo experience inside a trailer with built-in technology from Platform Science and our partners. From visiting prospects and partners at their headquarters to connecting with industry leaders at annual conferences, we’ve had a great time so far and can’t wait to see where the road takes us next. Ready for a trip down memory lane? Let’s go!
BGSA Holdings | Supply Chain Conference 2022
January 19-21 | Palm Beach, FL
Our roadshow tour kicked off with the BGSA Holdings Supply Chain Conference at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, FL. During our visit, Platform Science was featured on NBC affiliate WPTV’s evening broadcast as our Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Jake Fields introduced the Connected Vehicle Lab and explained its role in transforming transportation.
RILA LINK | The Retail Supply Chain Conference
February 20-23 | Dallas, TX
The Retail Industry Leaders Association’s annual conference was a great opportunity to link up with the innovators keeping the supply chain moving. At this year’s event, our team of Solutions Engineers welcomed over 75 guests aboard the Connected Vehicle Lab during our exclusive tours. In addition to networking with industry peers and showcasing our transportation solutions, we learned how top retail leaders are navigating the challenges posed by supply chain issues.
American Trucking Association | TMC ‘22
March 7-10 | Orlando, FL
We returned to the Sunshine State for ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting in Orlando. The event started with a keynote address from John O’Leary, CEO and President of our partners Daimler Truck North America, who shared his insight on the need for connectivity, autonomy, and electrification in commercial vehicles. O’Leary also gave a shout-out to our Co-founder and CEO, Jack Kennedy, crediting him with the idea that "It’s not the aggregated data from an entire fleet alone that is making the difference. It’s the vehicle-specific understanding we glean from the data coming off each unit, which makes the difference to keep customers on the road."
Truckload Carriers Association | Truckload 2022
March 19-22 | Las Vegas, NV
The Connected Vehicle Lab was the star of the show at TCA’s annual Truckload conference in Las Vegas. As “the premier event for truckload professionals,” this event provided a great opportunity for us to make new connections and show off our latest technology inside the Lab. We also enjoyed learning more about cyber security from this year’s featured speakers—former FBI agent Chris Tarbell and Anonymous hacker Hector Monsegur—who provided tips on how to prevent cyber attacks.
National Private Truck Council | Annual Education Management Conference & Exhibition
April 10-12 | Cincinnati, OH
With many of the country’s top companies depending on private fleets to deliver their goods, it’s no wonder NPTC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition is the national private truck fleet event of the year. While in Cincinnati, we visited our partners Doran Manufacturing at their facility for a tour of the Connected Vehicle Lab. We also provided demos of Doran’s tire monitoring system at NPTC, where our team enjoyed roundtable discussions, workshops, and exhibits alongside the country’s top private fleets.
National Tank Truck Carriers | Annual Conference & Exhibits
April 23-26 | San Diego, CA
NTTC held its annual conference here in San Diego, so we had the pleasure of meeting the tank truck industry’s top leaders right in our backyard. And since the event focused on tankers instead of trailers, we let the Lab take a break to cool down before the next show. Meanwhile, our team demonstrated how PS Workflow helps tank truck carriers fuel productivity while ensuring safety and success with every delivery.
FreightWaves | Future of Supply Chain
May 9-10 | Rogers, AR
The first in-person FreightWaves event since 2020 was a reunion of sorts for Platform Science. We reconnected with lots of old friends—and made some new ones along the way—at the Future of Supply Chain conference in Rogers, Arkansas. Our VP of Solutions, Darrin Demchuk, also hosted a rapid-fire demo of PS Workflow to show fleets how our platform lightens their daily workloads.
We’ve had a blast on the road, and we’re looking forward to the second half of this year’s tour. To see where we’re heading next, check out our Events page for an up-to-date list of future stops in a city near you. We’ll see you soon!
